Overview
A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly regarded Fresh Fruit Importer and Supplier to the major multiples. Due to success and recent growth we are now seeking an Allocations Assistant / Stock QC on their behalf.
Working with the supply chain team, this Allocations Assistant position will support the allocation of stock to ensure the quality of product meets customer requirements & specifications. This role is key in ensuring correct allocation of their stock and that it is processed in a timely, efficient, and systematic manner.
Responsibilities
- Allocate fresh produce raw material for each order in a timely & efficient manner via Prophet.
- Ensure preferred authorised material is used to complete orders.
- Clear understanding of arrivals for the current and following day.
- Review raw material quality/packaging ahead of allocation to ensure correct standards and tracks are being set.
- Co-ordinate the use of return product from retailers and liaise with the Product Manager.
We are seeking an individual who is working within Fresh Produce sector who has worked in a similar role. This role will suit an individual that has worked in a quality control position and / or stock allocation position and is seeking a new challenge.
- Good computer skills (Microsoft products – Prophet experience an advantage)
- Willingness to work unsocial hours, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
- Willingness to work in chilled area and packhouse environment
The working days for this role will be Friday-Tuesday (5 days per week), working hours may vary depending on business needs but will usually be between 7am-5pm.
