Overview

A market leader in their sector, our Client is an established and highly successful Fresh Produce grower, working with an exciting portfolio of fresh produce products that are destined for the UK retailers. We are currently seeking an Intake Quality Controller / QC

The position of Quality Controller will work within Intake to;

Unload Fruit pallets with an electric pallet truck
Ensure all product arriving onsite is checked against customer’s specific requirements and specifications
Monitor and take responsibility for raw material quality checks, reporting any issues promptly
Generate reports and documentation with attention to detail
Ensure product meets customer expectations

We require;
Exposure to the Food and / or Fresh Produce sectors would be highly beneficial
Previous experience within intake Quality Control / Quality Assurance
Ability to use an electric pallet truck
Ability to work to deadlines and maintain accuracy
Excellent communication skills at all levels

Hours; Day shifts – this role will work 6 days a week
Location; Somerset
Salary; £11.44 per hour + Accommodation available
